Brand and Product Counterfeiting

Proprietors of trademarks around the world are being confronted with cases in which their products are being faked and/or counterfeited. Products are sold on the market under their name, but are not of the quality to be expected. Large financial losses for the proprietor of the trademark are the consequence of such practices and consumers feel that they have lost out materially and financially, not to mention the danger posed to the health of the consumer and of others in some cases.

Our office has developed a strategy which can contribute to a limitation of damage for both the proprietor of the trademark and its customers. We can be of service to clients by carrying out thorough investigations after an offence has been committed, but also through preventative action.
